  • Order Submission/Amendment - Orders are typically submitted by the hospital, medical practice or research establishment who are administering the drug. The process is expected to be as follows:
  • Order Receipt - When orders are submitted, amended or cancelled, the manufacturer is able to acknowledge receipt of the submissFF3C00ion, amendment or cancellation.
  • Order Access Control - The ability to modify existing orders or create new orders out of normal business hours must be adequately controlled and communicated to ensure that such activities are taken into account on the next working day in a timely manner. Similarly the control of order amendments once the order is being fulfilled is required prevent unnecessary waste of materials and resource.
  • Orders Dashboard - The status of active orders must be readily available to MOBO staff to allow clear visibility of their status and any changes made by their customers. This will be achieved by means of an Orders dashboard. QA with various approval processes –
  • Batch Process management - manages flexible, multi-stream and multi-product batch operations found in the pharmaceutical industries. It provides guidance and oversight to batch execution. It automates batch processes to deliver consistent quality to the specifications and genealogy for a complete batch history.
  • Batch Data Editing - It may be necessary to edit existing information related to the batches of vials manufactured in order to correct any transcription errors or typographical errors in comments fields.
  • Batch Data Review and Batch Disposition - Batch data entered must be independently reviewed to ensure data accuracy. Once all batch data and documentation has been reviewed, a Qualified Person will make a disposition decision to release or withdraw the batch, allowing quarantined product at the clinic to be either released for use or returned to MOBO. Calibration doses bypass the normal disposition process, as these are used only for equipment calibration.
  • Rescinding the Batch Disposition - It may be possible that the batch disposition is made incorrectly, so it should be possible for a QP to immediately change the batch disposition, to prevent the risk of patient harm.
  • Reporting & Analytics - events/products/customers - Reports are used to generate data from the system. Specific reports can be assigned to specific events, products and to specific clients, so that these can be customized for specific events, products or customers.
  • Certificate Generation- Once the Order has been completed, the software allows the user to generate a pdf certificate with the order details. The software also allows generating a submission certificate and an Acknowledgement Certificate for the internal user.

  • Their Challenge – Handling around 500-1000 samples per day, with each sample undergoing multiple tests and turnaround times as short as 24 hours often required, the need to drive and maintain laboratory efficiency is very important. Operation was based excel form and was using old software which unable to match the need of speed and accuracy.
  • Our Solution – LABSOLS LIMS removed a major bottleneck by using bar-coding to replace the manual scanning and saving as PDFs of sample request forms and providing faster bespoke reports. In addition, the system was configured to automate the collection of test results and eliminate transcription errors by uploading the data directly into our LIMS from lab equipments. Using the built-in configuration tools, dashboard screens were configured to automatically populate information from the internal data to make the flow more intuitive and efficient.
